      Hi,

      do there exists any plans or plugins (by yourself or third party of which you know; commercial or free) for a more complex search? We already evaluated http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFEXT/Advanced+Search+Plugin but this isn't what we're looking for.

      We need several improvements of the current search:

      • searching a subtree within a space (a single page and recursivly all it's childrens)
      • searching for a specific time period. (not just last X days, but something like "from 10-10-2006 to 10-12-2006"

      Any hint appreciated.

            It would be very useful if Confluence Search would allow the user EXCLUDE a word or expression from search results.

            Markus, regarding your first requirement, I think the Pagetree Search plugin may help you.

            We have even already bought confluence, but are having a hard time figuring out how some of our twiki %SEARCH page compositions will be able to be done.

            our serach look like the following

            Iteration Dates From To Total Remaining Est. Velocity Actual

            And displaying a particularly marked up line within that topic ...
