Add the ability for plugins to add custom contentTypes to Confluence search

      Plugins wish to be able to get a list of attachments and filter them by the attachment type - at the moment the list in which they can filter by is restricted to those listed in Attachment.Type.

            Thank you for raising this issue. While I can see how this feature would be useful, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now.

            Yes - the use case was described by Eric from Gliffy for allowing plugins to be able to define a content type and then use the search api to filter on that type.
