• Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Thanks everyone for watching and commenting on this ticket.

As part of an initiative to consolidate feature requests/suggestions to gather centralized feedback, improving the popularity of the existing ones, we are closing this ticket as invalid as it does not rely on actions from Atlassian for its implementation.

Adding some context, the User provisioning relies on SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management), to which we provided the SCIM REST APIs so that any Identity Provider can develop their solution to integrate their customers' userbase to Atlassian products. When the Identity Provider does not support this integration, it is likely because there are pending actions on their side. For such scenarios, we recommend reaching out to your Identity Provider channel for more details on their development cycle for this feature.

As always, thank you for the opportunity to improve our products, Feel free to bring additional feedback via existing suggestions!

      João N.,
      Atlassian Team

Jumpcloud is an identity provider that can be integrated with Atlassian Access via SAML. It would be a good feature to allow Jumpcloud to be integrated with the user provisioning feature as well.

[ACCESS-787] Support user provisioning with Jumpcloud

JumpCloud actually does now have good support for managing Atlassian groups via SCIM. This is a recent feature they launched in the spring of 2021.

This doesn't work smoothly for Bitbucket or Trello, but that appears to be more of a limitation with those 2 products. You can't even manage your Bitbucket users' access rights from Atlassian.

While Atlassian access doesn't integrate with Jumpcloud yet, using the Multiplier plugin, you can manage and administer Jumpcloud users and groups from within Jira.
