Allow admins to manage creation of new sites under the existing org

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

Currently you have to use the transfer product method in order to move new sites from an auto-created org to your existing org.

This creates a lot of confusion and added work for Org admin, we should ask if they already have an Org or allow site creation under admin.atlassian.com.

We should also allow org admins to restrict the creation of new cloud sites from www.atlassian.com

Just as an update, today it is already possible to create a site from within the organization. To do that, you need to access the Products menu, where you see the button Add product in the top right.

As for preventing users from creating sites, this is being tracked at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-11072.
