Issue Summary
When a restriction is added or removed on a Confluence Folder or Whiteboard, the audit log entry is generated but does not include the space key instead shows <space:key> . This makes it difficult to identify which space the action occurred in, reducing the usefulness of audit logs for administrators.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to a Confluence space containing a Folder or Whiteboard.
- Add or remove a restriction on the Folder or Whiteboard.
- Go to https://admin.atlassian.com >> Insights >> Audit log . he entries looks incorrect
- Locate the audit log entry for the restriction change.
Expected Results
The audit log entries should look like :
Added content restriction Edit for <email.com> to Confluence page Test page in space DK
Actual Results
Added content restriction Edit for <email.com> to Confluence page Test page in space <space:key>
Workaround
Users can the relevant space name in product related audit logs
- Select the wheel icon () in the top-right corner to open Confluence administration.
- Find Monitoring in the left-hand navigation.
- Select Audit log.
