User Problem
The Active Trello Users feature in Guard product insights does not display a fully representative picture of the data of Trello usage in Atlassian admin.
For example, whilst it does show Trello activity per the following:
The active users chart displays users who have viewed a page in a app (such as a Jira issue or Confluence page), or in the case of Trello, those who have used Trello at least once a month and have an email domain that the organization admin manages.
It doesn't display additional information like the number of active licensed Trello Enterprise users, particularly if a customer is on Trello Enterprise. As an example, when you click the 'Insights' link on the Trello Enterprise Admin dashboard, it links off to the Product insights page in admin.atlassian.com. A customer may want to gain additional insights on product usage in more detail and granularity - particularly when considering how many licenses they would like to renew at.
Suggested Solutions
Add additional graphs and product insights for Trello product usage on this page and show the following:
- Licensed users
- More clarity on what the Guard product insights page is showing - what is meant by active users, compared to licensed users.
- Clearer disclaimer on whether there may be discrepancies between what is displayed in Atlassian Admin compared with the data in the Trello Enterprise dashboard.
Current Workarounds
Export the list of licensed users from the Enterprise admin dashboard. While this may help - there should be a streamlined approach across both places that reflects the true current state of Trello usage.
