Update Atlassian Cloud App in Okta to include Loom

      Problem Definition

      With change to Loom accounts being managed in an Atlassian Organization, Administrators would like for their users to IdP Initiated login to these applications.

      In Okta, chiclet/buttons are utilized to initiate IdP login to Apps

      Why this is important

      There is not an option to display a Okta user with a Loom chiclet/button with the "Atlassian Cloud" App. This can lead to confusion for Users that only have access to these products.

      Suggested Solution

      Update the "Atlassian Cloud" App in Okta to add a link to Loom for IdP Initiated login.

      Workaround

      • Users can SP initiated login by navigating to any Atlassian Cloud URL, including loom.com/login.
      • Okta Admins can add a Bookmark App for SP initiated logins to https://loom.com/login
      • Create a Bookmark App to start.atlassian.com, and then users can choose which product that they would like to proceed to after a SP initiated login.
