      Given the popularity of Microsoft Entra as an Identity Provider (IDP), it would be beneficial for Atlassian to support this integration. This enhancement would streamline the management process for customers who utilize Azure Entra for distinct customer management.

      • Azure Entra has introduced the capability to create External Tenants and manage Portal-only customers separately.
      • This feature is essential for organizations that wish to segregate the management of Portal-only customers from their main Entra tenant.
      • Such segregation is necessary because adding portal-only customers differs from other business processes and is usually handled by different personnel.

            A Msft Entra external tennant is a requirement for companies who want to segregate the management of portal-only customers from their regular Entra users. This makes sense, as adding portal-only customers to Entra does not follow the same business process, and will not be performed by the usual Entra admin, but rather by IT-officers managing the JSM project itself.
