Provide different verification methods for external user logins

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Currently, we have one single method to verify external users - Email OTP.

      This request is to allow admins to choose different verification method like Authenticator Apps under external user policy.

            It is our CSEC department that forces us to use a strong two factor authentication (with authenticator app) for login of external users in Atlassian cloud.

            The email OTP solution is not accepted by them, because it is not strong enough. 

            Actually it is the only reason why we are not using Atlassian cloud for productive purposes yet.

            Please consider to enable this feature for external user policies, as it is already available for managed users in authentication policies.
