    Description

In circumstances where User Provisioning is integrated with the Atlassian cloud application, and users are added to the group on the Identity Provider (IDP), there will be a synchronisation of this information from the IDP to the Atlassian cloud application. This synchronisation event can be checked in the Audit Log, which can be accessed via Admin Hub > Security > Audit Log.

The synchronisation process from the IDP ensures that the user aligns with all the linked Atlassian cloud sites within the same organisation. In instances where there are two cloud sites within the client’s organisation, these would result in two separate entries in the Audit Log for this synchronisation process.

Upon reviewing these events in the Audit Log tab, they may initially appear as duplicate entries. However, they are in fact two distinct events corresponding to each cloud site. This can cause some confusion when interpreting the audit logs due to the seeming repetition of events.

To enhance clarity and aid in the interpretation of these logs, it would be beneficial to append the site name or site ID to each Audit Log event. This would provide a more straightforward understanding of the logs.

I have attached the current audit log snapshot here for reference.
