Problem Definition
When user's integrate with Google Workspace (paid or free), they are unable to sync all groups. Instead, they must select groups manually on the Atlassian side sync settings to sync. In order to sync newly created groups, admins must also update their Atlassian side sync settings manually.
Suggested Solution
1) Provide an option to sync all groups
2) Provide an API endpoint to add groups to the list of syncable groups in Atlassian.
Why this is important
This change would reduce friction when creating new groups in Google Workspace and starting to use them in Atlassian.
This would bring Google Workspace to be more on-par with other Atlassian-supported identity providers which all have some way of automating group provisioning to their respective Atlassian Cloud Apps.
Workaround
Currently, there is no workaround. An update will be posted here when one is available.
Using any of the other supported identity providers that support group provisioning will allow your team to automate group provisioning.
