For new customers - we have increased the user provisioning sync limit to 70k users.
For existing customers - we have increased the user provisioning sync limit to 70k users. However, as part of our efforts to scale SCIM without affecting performance, a group limit of 20k members needs to be introduced. In your current configuration, SCIM creates a default group (All members for directory) which contains all your synced users.
If you need to provision more than 20k users in total, we would need to delete the default group that’s automatically created. If this workaround is feasible to you, please reach out to Support so we can assess the change.
There are also a small number of customers that we have not migrated to the 70k user provisioning sync limit due to being close to or above the 20k group size limit. Please reach out to Support for assistance.

The SCIM limit has now been increased to 20k for Atlassian products (including JSM).

Hi,
This is Matt from the Identity team.
We will be increasing the SCIM limit to 70k users by 30 September 2021.
Cheers,

Product Management team.
Current Scenario
Currently, Atlassian allows you to create a User Provisioning (SCIM) integration capable of syncing up to 10k users.
This limit might not be enough for specific needs from some users that are scaling our products. More specifically, since we don't have a customer limit for JSM, companies expect to be able to provision their users to the site, so they could access the JSM portal using an Atlassian account. Such functionality allow them to:
- Provision and de-provisiong these users' accounts through the SCIM integration.
- Enable SSO for these users (in case they are from a verified domain).
Suggested Solution
Add capability of syncing more than 10k users for accounts that will be just accessing the JSM Portal (not licensed on the products).
