Unable to add a board member whose status is "Joined"

Issue Summary

When trying to add a member to a board who is currently neither a Workspace member nor a guest, the board admin sees the “Joined“ status under the invitee’s name. The “Invite“ button is either not clickable or doesn’t result in adding a member’s name to the board members list.

Steps to Reproduce

Have not been able to reliably reproduce internally, but had a report as follows

1. Open a board and click "Share"
2. Type in a username or an email address
3. See the "Joined" pop-up appear as a status if the invitee

• You can also search for the user in the member's tab, they will be displayed as not a member of the Board

Expected Results

Can click "Invite" and the invitee's username appears in the board's members list

Actual Results

After you click "invite", the invitee's username doesn't appear in the board's members list

Workaround

While you can remove and re-add members as needed, there's a very small chance this might cause a syncing issue that prevents the member from being added back.

Workaround

• Invite using the link: Invite the user back using the board invitation link and ask them to join the board. Inviting people by using a shareable link
• Temporally add the user to the Workspace: You can temporarily add this user to the Workspace and ask them directly to add themselves to the Board, after that (for security reasons) you can remove them from the Workspace. Inviting people to a Workspace / Removing people from a Workspace
• Copy the Board: Copy the board and re-add members - Copying the board will not copy over existing members to the new board. So you would need to re-add members to the board and any cards.
