    Description

      Normal behavior:

When you click on a branch in the branches sidebar, the latest commit of that branch is focused, highlighted and scrolled into view in the tree view.

      Unexpected behavior:

When a branch is selected in the branches sidebar but that branch's latest commit is not selected/focus on the tree view, if you click on the branch to try and locate its latest commit on the tree view, nothing happens. You have to click a different commit or branch, and then click on the original branch again to get the expected behavior.

      Reproducibility:

Couldn't tell how to reproduce, but what I described above is the state where this issue happens. It might have to do to checking out different branches.

      Expected behavior:

No matter the state of the application GUI, whenever a branch is clicked on the branches sidebar, its latest commit should be selected, focused and scrolled into view.
