Cannot delete/update quick filter w/ JQL single quotes

      I added a quick filter to my board with the JQL set to:

      assignee = ''

      It should have been set to

      assignee is EMPTY

      Deleting the quick filter does nothing and displays no errors. I can still add new filters, but cannot sort them.

      When updating the JQL, I get the following error:

      The value '' does not exist for the field 'assignee'.
