    • We collect Jira Service Desk feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Server. Using JIRA Service Desk Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem Definition

Currently, JIRA Service Desk automation rules "THEN clauses tasks" are executed in parallel, which prevents the user to get the benefits of a sequential execution, where he could trigger, for example, multiple Workflow post functions to have the expected result of the first post function be used for the second rule being triggered.

      Suggested Solution

Provide the user the possibility to choose wether he wants the parallel or sequential order for the Automation rules execution
This could also be extended for not just the THEN clause of the Automations, but also for all automation rule using the same trigger, for example.
