Problem Definition
For JIRA Service Desk incoming mail Debug logs , may need to add below packages in logging to displayed JIRA Service Desk incoming mail logs :-
com.atlassian.mail.incoming.jepp mail.incoming.jepp.puller mail.incoming.jepp.processor
However , eventhough by adding this , there's no information about issue created/commented to any issue key , for example :-
Message from <name@domain.com> with ID <125AE59F.543FB2C0@domain.com> was assigned to issue HELP-1239. or Message from <name@domain.com> with ID <125AE59F.543FB2C0@domain.com> was commented to issue HELP-1239.
It will be much easier to track if there's such logs.
Suggested Solution
Provide the logs information to the Processing Log in View Logs options in JIRA UI and displayed the logs in the atlassian-jira-incoming-mail.log .
