Steps to Reproduce:
Create a username that starts with a special character (space).
Login, and click on Service Desk.

This bug is still present and blocks the usage of searching the knowledge base in JIRA Service Desk 3.0.10 Server completely!
This makes the KB feature for the service desk completely useless for us.
PS: renaming the user profile (like the suggested workaround) does not work and seems to have no effect.
