Some fields should be validated before the request is created by Customers

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Problem

      There's no field validation functionality for request created by Customers from the Customer Portal. For example, if there's a field for Customers to insert their License number, there's no validation for the License number validity.

      Suggestion

      Admin should be able to create fields with validation or functionality like the SEN field on the Create Request form in support.atlassian.com.

      Why is this important

      To ensure that the data entered by the Customers is sensible and reasonable
