      Problem Definition

      Service Desk customers do not know when an issue has been assigned

      Suggested Solution

      Add a customer notification for when issues are assigned

      Why this is important

      This allows customers to know when someone is assigned to an issue so they know it's being worked on

      Workaround

      Can use a combination of automation rules and workflow changes to send an e-mail whenever issue enters an assigned status.
