      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud. Using JIRA Service Desk Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The recent change to Service Desk brought superfluous greeting and salutation text into the comment box of an issue. It would be great if customer has the ability to disable it.
      Attached is a screen-shot of the behavior.
