Description
Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes) / (no)
Steps to Reproduce
- Add the "Projects" gadget in a dashboard and select a project from the gadget to display issues
- Click the "Issues" bar (refer screen shot 1) and no issues are displayed in the resulting issue search screen. The status of the issues doesn't matter - none of the issues are displayed.
- Also, clicking the "Tools" menu on the search board throws an error "The Jira server could not be contacted. This may be a temporary glitch or the server may be down."
Expected Results
Clicking the "Issues" bar shows issues as per the filter applied on gadget.
Actual Results
No issues are displayed in the resulting issue search screen. The status and the assignment status of the issues don't matter - none of the issues are displayed.
- There is no error in the application log.
- The URL formatted differently in the first request and the refresh request.
- For the initial request where issues are not displayed, the request URL is <baseURL>/issues/?/issues/?jql=project+%3D+SOF1+AND+resolution+is+EMPTY+AND+priority+%3D+%224%22.
- Note the extra "/issues/?" in the request. Entering this URL directly on the browser will redirect to <baseURL>/issues/. Upon refresh, the URL redirects correctly to the right JQL (eg: <baseURL>/browse/SOF1-2?jql=project %3D SOF1}}) and issues are displayed.
Workaround
Refresh the page to get the results as expected. There's no other workaround at the moment and will be added here when available
