      Problem Definition

      When Jira has problems sending emails due to the slow emal generation process or slow SMTP server it's hard to collect all required data at the right timeframe.

      Suggested Solution

      • Create a testing tool embedded in the product to collect the performance stats related to the email creation process
      • also mark all important phases in the email so it can be used as a self-evidence of the time spent at each phase.
