incorrect search counter when 2 searches used

I had a search with several pages of issues (JIRA's 3.2 bug fix list I think). I then opened a new window to view my reported issues. Now, I know that JIRA does not support multiple searches in the same browser since it is cookie based, so I didn't expect my original search to still be valid. But when I went back to the first search and pressed "Next" (page), JIRA told me I was "Displaying issues 51 to 17 of 17 matching issues." The problem being the starting number is 51 which was from the first search and the ending number being from the second search.
