Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Problem Definition
When using a WebHook created with a invalid URL, e.g. http://thisurldoesnotexists, no errors/exceptions will be thrown on the application logs (catalina.out, atlassian-jira.log) when performing the event that triggers the listener, unlike when a 404 or 500 is returned from the server.
Suggested Solution
Have a WARN message generated on the logs when the WebHook fails to contact the server/URL does not exist.
