Portlet links involving current user as a search param does not work

All Filter Statistic portlets (single and 2D)
with user values (reporter, assignee) specified as the current user
pass 'issue_current_user' and the issue navigator raises
validation errors as shown in the above screenshots.

to reproduce:
1. make a filter specifying a assignee or a reporter
2. make a stats table with this filter
3. click on a link/cell.
