Auto assign NOT working for one specific user in the cloud version of JIRA

      Summary

      After JIRA 7 implementation some bugs were rise created as:

      1. JRA-44848
      2. JRA-44821
      3. JRA-44834
        In response, innovalog has reported:

        I believe I have actually identified the issue, but I now need Atlassian's help to fix it. Atlassian broke their "contract" by sometimes replacing usernames in the History table with a string that matches neither the username nor the user Key of an existing user.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Set a post function to copy the value from an User Picker (multiple users) field to Assignee
      2. Try transitioning the issue, it will fail
