      Problem Definition

      The references to GlobalId in issuesWithRemoteLinksByGlobalId() documentation can be confusing or atleast obscure, in that it doesn't explain where the GlobalIds come from or how to retrieve them. Also, it's not clear if GlobalIds are only auto-generated or if they can be set explicitly e.g. for remote links added via REST API; or if they can be retrieved in an easy way other than from the database.

      Suggested Solution

      Explain more or include a link to further definition on remote link GlobalID, and how a user could retrieve it for use in the issuesWithRemoteLinksByGlobalId() function.
