When configuring POP/IMAP accounts within JIRA for Incoming / Outgoing email, JIRA only allows for the use of POP / IMAP email accounts e.g., Google email. Customers would like the ability to use a Google group as well. Several other issue tracking systems allow for this.

Current behavior
When selecting the type of email account, only POP / IMAP accounts are available in the drop down list
These accounts require a username / password

Requested behavior
When selecting the type of email account, POP / IMAP / Group accounts are displayed. The list would populate based on the Google Apps account being used with the JIRA instance.
