      Problem Definition

      JIRA Users would like the ability to set a default value in description fields.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide ability to modify a template to set default values for issues.

      Workaround

      1. Explained in this KB article: Setting a Default Value in the Description Field.
        This requires editing of server files, thus is not possible in JIRA Cloud.
      2. Default Values Add-On (also not available for Cloud)
