      Summary

      Searching for issues assigned to or reported by inactive user is not possible in basic mode.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Assign an issue to userA
      2. Make userA inactive (uncheck the Active box)
      3. Using Basic mode, search the Assignee > userA
      4. Switch to Advanced Mode, search with JQL Assignee = 'userA'

      Expected Results

      In Basic mode, userA is not available in the drop-down option

      Actual Results

      UserA is searchable in Basic mode

      Solution / Workaround

      • Make user Active when running the search in Basic mode
      • If we know exact username we can enter it in Advanced Search mode in spite of username is not suggested.
