java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException while creating new issue

I just had the following message from someone trying to create an issue in the XDoclet JIRA. I notice it's been upgraded recently to 2.6.1; could that have anything to do with David's problem?

Actually I can't, I'm getting this exception:
