      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      While reindexing isn't a frequent operation (should never really be necessary), it does take a long time for large numbers of issues. On a 2.6Ghz box, reindexing 5000 issues takes 562 seconds (9 mins). Need to look into whether this can be optimized.
