Description
By default Sybase doesn't allow NULL values for a table's columns. This is problematic for JIRA. (This was already noted in JRA-413: http://jira.atlassian.com/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=JRA-413#action_11986.)
For Sybase JIRA should create tables which explicitly allow NULL values.
An alternative is to setup the Sybase database used by JIRA to by default allow NULL values. This procedure is described here: http://manuals.sybase.com/onlinebooks/group-as/asg1250e/svrtsg/@Generic__BookTextView/15380.
If it isn't possible to setup which columns allow NULL values during the table creation process, the alternative solution should be mentioned in the documentation.
