Some favicons fail to load with Web Links in ie8

      For some URLs no favicon is loaded when adding a weblink in IE8.

      The following URLs worked:
      http://news.ycombinator.com
      http://www.steampowered.com

      These URLs didn't work (the spinner kept on spinning and is not replaced by the generic icon until you submit the form):

      http://www.smh.com.au
      http://www.news.com.au
