"Add comments" changes lost if another action taken

A user begins updating a bug by using the "Comment on this issue" feature. The user is half way done with his comments and get distracted. Forgetting he hadn't saved his changes, he realizes he needs to change the bug status and clicks "Verify". Poof The comment window closes and his comments are lost without asking him to save.

The user feels that he should be prompted if he would like to save or cancel his comments before Jira continues.
