When you define a new custom field type and want to be able to search over it you currently need to define a new customfield-searcher as well. Sometimes you want to be able to use an existing searcher. Currently you achieve this by defining a new customfield-searcher that is the same as an existing searcher but with a different set of valid-customfields. It would be nice if you could do this configuration from within the customfield itself rather than having to define this dummy customfield-searcher.
