Date Picker fields won't "hide" on Issue Navigator page

The "Date Picker" appears on the Issue Filter even though it is supposed to be set to hidden.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create two new custom fields:

2) Edit an active Field Configuration so that these new custom fields are both hidden. (field configuration screen.jpeg)
3) Go to Issue Navigator, select a project that uses the modified Field Configuration. Click the "click here" link to update the search criteria.(Filter and click here.jpeg)
5) See that field 'Test Text Field' is now removed from the available search criteria, but 'Test Date Field' is not.
