Print system info to the logs on startup

Details

    • We collect Jira feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

    Description

      When doing JIRA support, we frequently have just the log file. It would be very convenient to have the JIRA system info printed in the log on startup. Of particular use would be:

      • JDBC driver details, as reported by the driver.
      • Memory (max available).
      • Operating system.
      • Plugins other than those bundled with JIRA normally.
      • System profiling info (JRA-12270).
