      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Server. Using JIRA Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      In the "browse projet / open issues" screen, in the "Versions" section, it would be useful to display the description of the versions (so everybody knows what the release is about and what main features it will contain - so that only related issues are assigned to the release). It would also be useful to display the release date (as set in administration / manage versions).

      Also useful would be to be able to attach a "original estimate" for the releases and display it here.

      Also useful would be the total amount of time estimated for all issues of the given release.
