Occasionally one wishes to query JIRA by the date a certain field last changed. For example, to find:

• issues where a work log was entered in the last month.
• issues whose fix-for version was set in the last month.
• issues whose due date was set in the last month

If we could further specify what value the field had to be before considering the date, we could search for issues resolved in the last month, aka Resolution Date ("issues where status became 'resolved' in the last month").
