      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      We quite often have people asking why a Custom Field is not being shown in the Issue Navigator (columns and search bar).
      It is because they have not narrowed down the context correctly.

      At the top of the Custom Field Section, can we place include a message: Not all fields are shown due to Context. Please narrow Project or Issue Type selection.
