      Problem Definition

      At the present moment, all notifications sent by JIRA refer to the same Message-ID in the In-Reply-to: header, causing e-mails to not get threaded properly in mail clients when messages are not sorted by ascending date.

      Suggested Solution

      Make each notification sent by JIRA refer to the previous notification e-mail's Message-ID, creating a proper relation between e-mail notifications.

      Why this is important

      This will allow e-mail notifications to stay in the proper order should the user use a sorting option other than by ascending date.
