Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
- Search for a user with his email as username
- Click "delete user"
- If the users has reported issues before a link to the JQL query is displayed. Click the link
=> in the JQL query the username (email) is not enclosed between quotes which means the query does not work
It would be an improvement to enclose usernames with special characters like @ between quotes or escape them by default for JQL's generated by jira
