      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Requesting for an update towards https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/integrating-jira-applications-with-iis-802593039.html to include changes towards default IIS value for UrlSegmentMaxLength.

      Currently the UrlSegmentMaxLength is set to 200 by default in IIS, which could lead to the following issue https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Project+Sidebar+Icon+in+Agile+Board+is+missing+for+IE . Thus, informing the customer regarding this in the guide it self should help to deter the issue in future
