      Summary

      Basically, it is a regression from https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-28173 whereby users who do not have permission to access Confluence are able to see Confluence's status update on JIRA Activity Stream.

      Environment

      • JIRA 7.2.1
      • Confluence 5.10.6

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a application link between JIRA and Confluence via 2-legged OAuth
      2. Login user in JIRA which does not have access to Confluence

      Expected Results

      Activity Steam gadget in JIRA should not show any Confluence related activity or updates.

      Actual Results

      Activity Steam gadget in JIRA show any Confluence related activity or updates.
