The sample dbconfig.xml on https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/connecting-jira-to-sql-server-2012-610763188.html includes <pool-test-on-borrow>false</pool-test-on-borrow>.

We say this should be set to false on https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/tuning-database-connections-288657160.html
