Suggestion: Add a way to set the default view to "List" instead of "Details" for a specific filter.

This would be useful when sharing a filter with others - sometimes I set up a filter to have specific columns with useful information, but when sharing the filter with others the view seems to default to "Details" so other users aren't aware of the customized columns in List view.

It would be nice to be able to set a default view for the filter, so when other users view the filter they see the customized view.

            yes please add this feature.

This is important for sharing the list view with non savvy business users with a link without them having to change the view type.

Yes it would be good to save Default View type with the filter

+1 especially useful when sharing the Filter with less savvy Jira users.

+1 for being able to specify view type (especially list view) via URL β€” presumably could remain Ajax-controlled after page load via URL modification on-the-fly.

We need the same.  It's annoying to have to go to each person I shared a filter with that is meant to display ticket status in list view just to make sure they are not toggled into detail view.  This is one of those really surprising things in JIRA to find it's not already baked in.  It's such a basic option - to be able to share a filter and specify if it should be viewed by default in List or Detail view.  I hope this gets addressed.  Thanks.

I would really like this feature as well.  The List view is very useful

Good idea! Besides of that, the List or Details display option could be included as a parameter in the URL.
