Cannot Add Transitions in Draft Workflows

      Problem Definition

      A new transition cannot be added to a status with no outgoing transitions to a draft workflow
      Error You cannot perform this operation on a draft workflow shown.

      Suggested Solution

      Make it possible to add a transition to the last status which does not have any outgoing transitions.

      Workaround

      Edit the workflow in a disabled state (Inactive Worflow).

            kurtn do you mind linking to the cases where you have seen this? The reason we closed this issue and pointed you towards JRA-19091 is because that ticket is from 2009 and I believe it's the original improvement request.

            You guys hide MANY tickets that are huge bugs from 2007/2008 via closing them and re-opening a new ticket as if the problem is not 8 years old. I have been working with this software for some time and we have spoke before. Commented on that issue.

            Hi kurtn,

            We are not trying to hide anything. I linked to the wrong issue in my comment above, but as you can see in the information above, we closed this issue as a duplicate and in the issue links it is linked to JRA-19091, which is still open. We want to consolidate comments and feedback on that issue.

            I recommend following JRA-19091 for updates on this improvement. For an explanation on why we treat this as an improvement, not a bug, please see the first comment from 2009 on JRA-19091.
