      Problem Definition

      Currently, in JIRA 7, we have project type to categorize different project configuration however we cannot create our own project type.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide an option to create own project type as not all of the default project type suits the environment of every customer.

      Customer justification

      In jira 7 you introduce project types but your project types definition do not suit our business need so we need the ability to create our own project types to associate our thousand projects to depending on their project type, as well as to show project types in filters ( icon ) and the ability to search for them.
      How do I create our own custom project types and how do I search for project types in JQL and does there exist a gadget that supports project types.
